Thai herbal compress massage is a deeply relaxing, healing, comforting and nurturing therapy. A special selection of therapeutic herbs including ginger, lemongrass, plai, turmeric & kaffir are wrapped in a muslin compress, steamed and applied to the body using pressing, rolling and circular movements. The steaming and softening of the compress allows the gorgeous aroma of the essential oils in the herbs to be released. The treatment involves lighting a special candle (Hopi) impregnated with herbs, wax & honey and painlessly inserting it into the ear canal.
